Artwork 2011-2014

Painting is the distillation of thought. The goal is freedom; and the work is a summary of where I am at. The search should be evident. I simplified the seen world, reducing it to containers, actors, props and masses, to make a clear vocabulary/stage to take off from, and explore. What is our relationship between one another and to the built and unseen world? How do you get around something. What is its' weight? Ultimately, where are you trying to go; static, yet moving towards something-inside? the pool? or beyond to the mountain?
